Blankets for AIDS Babies

December 13, 2003--Stephanie Chapman, Women's Ministries Coordinator for San Francisco Central church, gave an update report on the annual Women's Ministries project of providing crocheted baby blankets for AIDS babies born during the month of December. This year, because some of the women who have crocheted in the past have moved away, the group did not meet their yearly quota of thirty (30) crocheted baby blankets. However, other women have made quilted baby blankets during the year as part of the Quilting Classes that were held throughout 2003, and completed enough to meet the goal of 30 blankets.

Special thanks go to Anneliese Schermann, Priscilla Der, Alice Reutlinger, Margaret Chapman, and Marlene Baerg (not shown) who relocated to Washington state last fall.
