and strong supporter of SFAS, passed away on July
10, 2007. A memorial service was planned for her
by the Rainbow Church. The memorial service was
held on Thursday, July 26 at the SF Central Church. |

Martin Dean (1947-2005)
On January 17th, 1947, the son of
Pastor & Mrs. Hakim Dean was born in Ludhiana,
India. During his early adulthood, he studied and
finished college with a Bachelor of Arts and found
a particular interest in political science and business.
In Karachi, he worked in the Seventh-Day Adventist
Hospital, where he met his wife, Mavis, and got
married on January 18, 1973. Then in 1974, he and
his wife moved to the United States, to the city
of San Francisco and had one son, Lowry, in 1975. More... |

Rita Resto ( -2004)
Rita Resto, a long-time attendee
at San Francisco Central Church, passed away the
week before Thanksgiving. She was survived by a
son, Ed Witt, and loved by many neighbors and friends.
A memorial service was held on Weds., Dec. 1. |

Aurelio Tongol (
-2004)
Aurelio Tongol, member of San Francisco
Central, died Monday, October 11, 2004. He was in
a Muni Bus accident sometime ago. Though he was
recovering a bit slowly he was not expected to die.
Funeral service was at Duggan’s Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Jobina Tongol. |

Glenda Roberts (
-2004)
Glenda Roberts passed away on March
22, 2004. Glenda, a long-time member of Central
moved to Montana a number of years ago. She was
baptized at Central by Pastor Sam Vigil in 1987,
after a Revelation Seminar series that was held
in Jim and Pat Wilson's home. We extend our deepest
sympathies to her son John Roberts, also a member
of our church, who is now living in her home in
Montana. |

Evelyn Vanda
Leticia Lethart (1907-2004)
Born December 19, 1907 on Ivy Street
near the ferry. Died February 16, 2004 at her home
in San Francisco. She was 96 years old. Music was
her love. She was a soloist, pianist, and organist.
As a teenager, she performed in churches, weddings,
funerals, and other functions. She was a piano teacher.
Dr. Chester Wong and his two brothers were her students.
She was baptized in Tabernacle Church and joined
SF Central in August 1931. |

LeRoy Fred Chase (1928-2004)
LeRoy Fred Chase was born in Peoria,
Illinois on January 12, 1928. Baptized May 9, 1968,
SF Central. Went both to WW2 and the Korean War.
Honorably discharged: US Navy, US Army, US Air Force.
He died February 12, 2004, San Francisco. |

May 8, 1918 to June 22, 2003 |

Steve Gungl (1936-2003)
Steve Gungl, renowned pianist, organist,
and vocal coach in the Greater Bay Area for the
past forty years, passed away from a blood clot
at the base of his brain stem, at 4:22 AM on on
May 3, 2003 at Stanford Hospital. |
